Prep School Hockey Federation

The Prep School Hockey Federation (PSHF) is a AAA Tier 1 Prep Hockey League for the U-16 and U-18 levels that will commence September 2015.

The PSHF is designed to provide the top North American Prep Hockey programs with elite competition and exposure to Canadian and U.S. Junior programs, along with Canadian Major Junior and NCAA hockey programs. The PSHF will  provide a larger competition pool than participating in localized leagues and create a North American option for a National Championship, by incorporating both to its ranking. The Federation’s members will compete in a 20-game regular season schedule, in additon to seven (7) league showcase weekends, culminating with league playoffs and the Prep Hockey National Championship in March of 2016.

The PSHF will complement the regular league schedule of its guest members by offering elite competitionn and showcase events hosted at top venues and desirable scouting locations in Canada and the United States. All PSHF showcase games will be broadcast live; the boardcasting partnership will be announced at a later date. The PSHF has formatted its scheduled events to partner with both Ontario and American Junior Showcase events, in order to benefit from the scouting presence at these events.  In addition, our season-ending Chmapionship tournament will be in-line with the prestigious OHL cup event at Downsview park.

The PSHF will be partnered with the International Hockey Group and Point streak to efficiently set up all administrative needs of the league and its members including scheduling, website, standings, statistics, and will also work with the league members to create a team profile and team websites.

The ultimate goal of this league is to provide a standard of play and prestige that will go beyond the current North American school sports program standards.  The PSHF’s member players benefit from the structure and expanded exposure as well as the schedule that respects the demands of a high-achieving student athlete.
